Cookie policy

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. This page lists the cookies this site uses and how you can control them. The Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies are only set if you press Accept on our cookie banner. If you press Reject, or haven’t chosen yet, no cookies are set, but Google Analytics and Google Ads still receive limited cookieless signals from this site (for example that a page was viewed or an enquiry was sent). These signals carry no cookie identifier, and Google uses them to estimate totals it can’t measure directly.

Cookies we use

Google Analytics (_ga and _ga_*): these tell us how people use the site, such as which pages are visited and for how long. They are set by Google and last up to two years. We use this information in aggregate to improve the site.

Google Ads (_gcl_au and _gcl_aw): these are advertising cookies. If you arrive from one of our Google adverts, they remember that click so that, if you later send us an enquiry, Google Ads can count it as a result of the advert. That tells us which adverts are working. They are set by Google and last up to 90 days. We don’t use them to show you personalised adverts.

YouTube: some of our training lessons include a video hosted by YouTube. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode and nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. When you do, YouTube may store information on your device. See Google’s privacy policy for details.

Google Maps: the map on our contact page is provided by Google, which may set its own cookies when the map loads. See Google’s privacy policy for details.

Essential cookies: WordPress may set short-lived cookies needed for the site and its forms to work. These don’t track you.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; most browsers explain how in their help section. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites with Google’s opt-out browser add-on. You can control how Google uses advertising information about you in Google’s My Ad Centre. Blocking cookies won’t stop the site working, though some features such as the map may not load.

If you press Reject, or change your mind later, we remove the Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies this site has set. The cookieless signals described at the top of this page continue. You can change your choice for this site at any time: change your cookie settings.
